The House
A Mallorca-born swim and resort house, built one capsule at a time.
Palma Riviera is an independent swimwear and resort wear label rooted in Mallorca, Spain. We design for the long Balearic summer — the suit that holds its line through a morning swim and the dinner that follows, the cover-up that reads as tailoring when the breeze turns at sundown, and the shade that stays sharp after salt has had its say.
Our practice is small on purpose. Each season we release a tightly edited capsule of one-piece swimsuits, bikinis, matching sets, and cover-ups. No churn of trend — only what the summer asks for.
Where it began
Palma Riviera began on a stretch of Mallorca coastline where the limestone turns pale at midday and the light forces clothing to earn its place. We were tired of swimwear that gave out after one season — fabric that pilled, elastic that died, prints that bled. So we set out to build the opposite: pieces engineered to be worn, washed, and worn again, season after season, holiday after holiday.
How we make it
- Italian regenerated nylon. Our swim fabric is woven in northern Italy from recovered ocean and post-industrial nylon, paired with a high-grade stretch fibre that returns to shape wash after wash.
- Small-run European tailoring. Patterns are cut in our Palma studio and stitched in partner ateliers across Portugal and Italy. Each style is produced in limited quantities — most pieces are never restocked.
- Bench-tested wear. Every silhouette is tested wet, dry, and salt-filmed before it leaves the studio. Suits are doubled through the bust and lined edge to edge.
- Considered finishing. Crochet cover-ups are hand-finished. Sunglass frames are cut from Italian acetate. Nothing on the line is here by accident.
The three movements
Our work is organised into three quiet categories.
Swim — architecture under strain. One-pieces, bikinis, and matching sets engineered to move with the body and outlast the season.
Connect — the interval between water and table. Open knits, gossamer crochet, and second-skin layers that translate shore to supper without a costume change.
Shade — what the equator asks for. Cover-ups, hats, and sunglasses with a quiet lens and a sharp line.
Slow by design
We release two seasonal capsules a year and a small number of off-season essentials. Capsules in limited units, finished by hand in partner workshops across Portugal and Italy — never the churn of trend, only what the season demands. Most pieces won't return next season. The ones that do, you'll know are worth keeping.

Tracked worldwide delivery in 11–14 business days, with duties and paperwork handled before your parcel reaches the door. Free on orders over $65.
Seven-day returns on unworn pieces with tags attached, available within the US only. Reach us within a week of delivery and we'll make it right.
