Privacy Policy

Palma Riviera is an independent swim and resort label based in Mallorca, Spain. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit palmariviera.store, why we collect it, and the choices you have over how it's used. It applies to every page on this site, including checkout.

What we collect

• When you browse. Your device type, IP address, time zone, browser, the pages you visit, and how you got here (referring URL). This is collected through cookies and similar technologies — it lets the site work, lets us see which pages are useful, and helps us spot fraud.
• When you buy. Your name, billing address, shipping address, email, phone number, and the items in your order. Payment details (card number, expiry, CVV) are entered directly into our payment processor — we never see or store them ourselves.
• When you sign up to The list. Your email, and the fact you opted in. That's it.
• When you contact us. Your name, email, and whatever you tell us in the message.

Why we collect it

• To process orders, take payment, and get parcels to you.
• To answer your messages and resolve issues.
• To send order updates, shipping notifications, and — if you've opted in — private previews and restock notes through The list (about one email a month).
• To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
• To understand which pages and products our customers actually use, so we can make better ones.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the small set of services we need to operate:

• Shopify — our e-commerce platform, which hosts the store and handles order data.
• Payment processors (Shop Pay, Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay) — to take payment securely.
• Shipping carriers — to deliver your order. Your name and address are passed to the carrier handling your parcel.
• Email service providers — to send order confirmations, shipping updates, and (if you've opted in) The list.
• Analytics providers — to understand site traffic in aggregate.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, a court order, or to protect the rights or safety of others.

Cookies

The site uses cookies for three purposes: to remember your cart and session (essential), to measure how the site is used in aggregate (analytics), and — if you've consented — to show you relevant ads on other sites (marketing). You can clear cookies or disable them in your browser at any time. Disabling essential cookies will prevent the cart and checkout from working.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that's inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal obligations, e.g. we keep order records for tax purposes).
• Object to certain processing, or withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time.
• Port your data to another service in a machine-readable format.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — in Spain, that's the AEPD (aepd.es).

How long we keep it

Order records: 7 years (tax and consumer-protection law). Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages: 24 months. Cart and browsing cookies: up to 12 months, or until you clear them.

International transfers

The site is hosted on Shopify's global infrastructure. Some of our service providers (payment, email, analytics) are located outside the European Economic Area. When data leaves the EEA, it's protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards required by EU law.

Children

We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we'll post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date at the top. For anything significant we'll also email the list.
